A Gulls eye view of the action

A typical midweek bash from Eyemouth in the plastic boats. George decided that rather than bring his boat to this one he would take some cliff top pictures of the action. The results as you can see are quite stunning. All the pictures on this entry are taken by George apart form one sea level shot.

This was a fine night for us with very little wind. The Swell height was around 1.4 meters but had travelled  a fair old distance so had  a decent sting in it's tail.

The coastline featured here lies under the Golf Course at Eyemouth. Access can be obtained by launching from Eyemouth beach. Take care here on larger swells and especially over high water. There's a sneaky get out over at the North end of the beach at the swimming pool car park. Even this can be a bit unnerving in a swell height over 2 meters. Keep an eye on fishing boats leaving the harbour,
